Symptoms of Oral Cancer
Oral cancer usually appears as a sore in the mouth that doesn't go away with time.
Symptoms of oral cancer include:
-Swelling, thickening, lumps, rough spots, or eroded areas on any part of the outside or inside of the mouth
-Velvety white, red, or a combination of the two, colored patches in the mouth
-Unexplained bleeding in the mouth cavity
-Unexplained numbness, soreness, or tenderness in the neck, face or mouth
-Persistent sores on the neck, mouth, or face that do not heal with time (about two weeks)
-Soreness of the throat
-Constant feeling that something is caught in the back of the throat
-Difficulty swallowing or speaking
-Difficulty moving the tongue or jaw
-Chronic sore throat
-Hoarseness or other change of voice
-Persistent ear pain
-Tooth movement
-Dramatic loss of weight
